September 10, 2024: District Sports Officer Mrs. Gurdeep Kaur announced that due to heavy rainfall, the games scheduled under the Watan Punjab 2024 initiative, which were to be held on September 10, have been rescheduled. The matches for blocks Khamanon, Amloh, Basi Pathana, and Khera will now take place from September 12 to September 14.
The athletics competitions for Block Khamanon, originally scheduled for September 10, will now be held on September 12 at the Sports Stadium, Ucha Jatana. Events such as Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, and Volleyball, which were to take place today, will now be held at the School of Eminence, Khamanon, on September 12. Similarly, athletics, Kho-Kho, and Kabaddi (Circle and National style) for Block Amloh will now be conducted on September 13 and 14 at Khalsa Senior Secondary School, Mandi Gobindgarh, with Volleyball and Football matches being held at the School of Eminence, Amloh.
Competitions for Block Basi Pathana scheduled for September 11 and 12 will now take place on September 14 at Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib. Similarly, the games for Block Khera on September 11 and 12 will also be rescheduled to September 14 at the same venue.
