9 september 2024 : Filmmaker Rohit Shetty is making last-minute adjustments to the climax of Singham Again ahead of its Diwali release. New scenes are being filmed at the Golden Tobacco factory in Vile Parle, featuring a dramatic play setup with characters dressed as demons to add a folk element. The adjustments aim to meet fan expectations for the climax.
According to sources, the additional filming involves a grand stage performance and a crowd scene, with Ajay Devgn, who plays Bajirao Singham, expected to join the shoot soon. The production team is incorporating the gathered crowd into the scene, with filming set to continue until September 11.
Singham Again is the fifth installment in Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe and a sequel to Singham Returns (2014). The film stars Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor, among others. It is scheduled for release on Diwali 2024. The film was first announced in September 2017 and its official title was revealed in December 2022.
