5 September 2024 : Pranjali Dhumal earned a bronze medal in the Women’s 25m pistol event at the World Deaf Shooting Championship in Hanover, Germany.

Dhumal entered the finals with a deaf world record and championship record score of 571. In the finals, she secured the bronze by hitting three out of five shots in the eighth series, narrowly surpassing Croatia’s Lana Skeledzija by just one point. Dhumal finished with a score of 29, behind gold medalist Sofiia Olenych and silver medalist Halyna Mosina from Ukraine. Indian shooter Anuya Prasad placed fifth with a score of 21, having qualified with 558 points, while Vedika Sharma, another Indian competitor, ended her qualification round with a score of 473. To date, India has won three gold, six silver, and four bronze medals in the tournament.
