Cohen, who has owned the property since 2003, extensively renovated it over the years, combining it with neighboring units to create his ideal home.
The listing is managed by Ryan Serhant, a prominent real estate agent and Cohen’s longtime friend. Serhant has been enthusiastic about the property, describing it as a rare gem and expressing excitement about the opportunity to sell such a unique residence. According to Serhant, the apartment boasts exceptional design and functionality, including ample storage space—a rarity in the West Village.
The duplex has been a notable venue for celebrity gatherings, hosting stars like Madonna, Sarah Jessica Parker, John Mayer, and Kelly Ripa.
