4 september 2024 : Kangana Ranaut announced her new film “Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata” on Tuesday while awaiting certification for her directorial project “Emergency” from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
“Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata” aims to highlight the vital contributions of working-class heroes who often go unrecognized. The film will be directed and written by Manoj Tapadia, with Eunoia Films and Floating Rocks Entertainment producing it.
Ranaut shared the news on X, expressing excitement about the project. She described “Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata” as a tribute to unsung heroes, produced by Babita Ashiwal and Adi Sharmaa, and directed by Tapadia. She emphasized that the film is expected to inspire audiences with its message of hope and resilience.
Babita Ashiwal of Eunoia Films mentioned that working on this film has been highly rewarding and expressed confidence that it will resonate with viewers. Adi Sharmaa of Floating Rocks Entertainment added that the collaboration aims to create content that deeply connects with audiences and sets a standard for future successes.
Meanwhile, Ranaut’s film “Emergency,” which she directed, wrote, and co-wrote, is still awaiting CBFC clearance. Initially set for a September 6 release, the movie has faced delays due to criticism from Sikh religious groups who argue that it might provoke communal tensions and spread misinformation.
