September 3, 2024: On the second day of the Second World Deaf Shooting Championship in Germany, India dominated the men’s 10-meter air rifle event, sweeping all three medals. Dhanush Sreekanth won gold, Shaurya Saini took silver, and Muhammad Murtaza Wania secured bronze. Dhanush set two world records in one day; he first established a world record with a score of 632.7 in the initial qualification round, and then broke the previous world record with a score of 251.7 in the final.
