September 2, 2024: Indian shooters Avani Lekhara and Siddharth Babu finished 11th and 28th, respectively, in the Mixed 10m Air Rifle Prone (SH1) event at the Paralympic Games, and thus neither qualified for the final. In the Mixed 10m Air Rifle Prone (SH2) qualification, Sriharsha Devaraddi Ramakrishna finished 26th with a total score of 630.2. Avani, who had previously won a historic gold medal in the 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1 event, could not repeat her performance and failed to qualify for the final, despite a good start, with a total score of 628.8 points. Siddharth scored 628.3 points. In the six series, Avani’s scores were 105.7, 106.0, 104.1, 106.0, 104.8, and 106.2, while Siddharth’s scores were 104.6, 103.8, 105.7, 104.9, 103.6, and 105.7. On Friday, Avani had won a gold medal in the Women’s 10m Air Rifle (SH1) event.
