Chandigarh, August 27 : Haryana’s Chief Electoral Officer, Sh. Pankaj Agarwal, announced that the final publication of voter lists for all 20,629 polling booths across the 90 assembly constituencies in the state has been completed on August 27 for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections.

He informed that on August 2, 2024, the preliminary list included 2,01,61,950 voters. In the final list published on August 27, 2,35,804 new voters were added, while 1,72,796 voters were removed. Thus, a total of 63,008 voters were added during the second summary revision of electoral rolls.

Sh. Pankaj Agarwal stated that with the final publication of the voter list, 2,02,24,958 voters in the state will be able to exercise their franchise, including 1,07,11,926 males, 95,12,574 females, and 458 third-gender voters. He added that there are 5,01,682 young voters in the 18 to 19 age group. Apart from this, there are 1,48,508 differently-abled voters, 2,30,967 voters over the age of 85, and 8,818 voters who are over 100 years old. Similarly, there are 41,86,591 voters in the 20 to 29 age group.

He mentioned that the preliminary publication was done on August 2, considering July 1 as the qualifying date. If the names of those who turned 18 years old on or before July 1, 2024, are not included in the voter list, they should contact the concerned BLO (Booth Level Officer) and fill out the prescribed form to register. Even if the name is not on the final voter list published on August 27, one can still apply to get their name added by filling out Form 6 through the BLO or by using the Voter Helpline app. The last date to collect nomination papers is September 12, and voters can get their names added up until September 2, which is ten days before the final date.

The Chief Electoral Officer stated that the final voter list for the Assembly elections was published on August 27 and is available at all District Electoral Officer offices. Additionally, the voter lists have been uploaded on the department’s website, ceoharyana.gov.in, where anyone can download and check their name in the voter list. Furthermore, voters can check their status by calling the Voter Helpline number 1950.
