19 august 2024 : Rhea Chakraborty has released the latest promo of her show Chapter 2 and this time the actress can be seen having a deep conversation with Bollywood’s “perfectionist” Aamir Khan. In the promo, the stars can be seen discussing stardom, films, therapy and how to deal with grief, among other things. Aamir is the second guest on Rhea’s show after she debuted with former Miss Universe and actress Sushmita Sen.
The promo begins with Rhea praising the superstar for his looks. It then cuts to Aamir calling Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan “good looking”. He says, “Hrithik is handsome, Salman is handsome, Shah Rukh is really handsome but me…” Rhea chips in and says, “You are also handsome. I think the whole country will agree with me for once.” Aamir then can be heard saying. “People make fun of my fashion choices.” Rhea teases, “I never said you are stylish.”
In the promo, Aamir Khan can also be seen breaking down into tears while recalling something. He says, “From there my chapter 2 began…” In the video, Aamir is also seen praising Rhea’s spirit. “You have shown remarkable courage, Rhea,” says the actor. He also talks about wanting to move away from films to which Rhea sys “jhooth (lies)”. She also jokes about having a lie detector test arranged for the actor. The Lagaan actor also talks about taking therapy and how he has learnt a lot of things from the same.
Sharing the promo on her Instagram handle, Rhea Chakraborty wrote, “I’m thrilled to welcome Aamir Khan, a true star and a genuine friend. Stay tuned for a deep dive about his experience with stardom, parenthood, grief, and more.” The new episode will stream on August 23.
Rhea, who was dating Sushant Singh Rajput, faced scrutiny after the actor’s sudden death in 2020. Following the incident, Rhea was arrested and sent to Mumbai’s Byculla jail on charges related to drugs. The actress remained away from the limelight until last year.
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan was last seen in Lal Singh Chadha. The actor is currently working on the film Sitaare Zameen Par.
