15 august 2024 : Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt initially appeared together in Ayan Mukerji’s film Brahmastra, and now they reunite for a project directed by Karan Johar. The trio has collaborated on a new advertisement for a fabric company, which highlights the chemistry between the lead couple. In this scenario, Ranbir attempts to celebrate his recent award victory with Alia, who appears to be distressed due to a prior disagreement. When he encourages her to join in the celebration, Alia responds in a rather unconventional manner.
The advertisement begins with Ranbir inquiring whether Alia remains upset despite his award win. When he insists on receiving congratulations, she responds with a begrudging “congratulations” tinged with irritation. “So dry, let’s celebrate?” he suggests, as Alia presents two racks filled with wine. When Ranbir expresses concern about potentially staining the furniture and drapes, Alia introduces the brand. At that moment, the bottles resembling champagne suddenly pop open, drenching Ranbir in the process. She then blows him a kiss and cheerfully offers her congratulations.
