13 august 2024 : Ranvir Shorey frequently discusses aspects of his personal life. The actor, who secured the position of second runner-up in Bigg Boss OTT 3, has recently revealed that he was physically attacked by the brother of actress Pooja Bhatt following their breakup. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan on his YouTube channel, Ranvir also accused Pooja’s father, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, of disseminating false narratives about him. Ranvir Shorey claims Mahesh Bhatt exerted manipulation over him
While reflecting on his previous relationship with Pooja, the actor stated, “During our conflict, I sensed that the respect I held for him was used manipulatively. When the disagreement arose, he informed my father, ‘Let us put this matter to rest, whatever transpired between the children.’ However, the following day, he proceeded to spread blatant falsehoods about me, orchestrating misleading stories in the media that depicted me as an alcoholic and abusive individual. All of it is untrue!” He continued, “It was her brother who physically assaulted me. He (Mahesh Bhatt) could have intervened and advised them against such behavior…. In that regard, I perceived him as manipulative towards me. These events occurred 25 years ago, and I prefer not to delve into them now.”
Ranvir Shorey’s career in acting
Ranvir made his acting debut in Shashilal Nair’s Ek Choti Si Love Story, which starred Manisha Koirala in the lead role. He subsequently appeared in numerous Hindi films, including Khosla Ka Ghosla, Pyaar Ke Side Effects, Bheja Fry, Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd., Singh is Kinng, A Death In The Gunj, and Sonchiriya. His most recent notable theatrical release was the film Tiger 3, featuring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.
