Indian travelers are enthusiastically organizing both domestic and international journeys to fully enjoy the extended holiday.
The data revealed an impressive year-on-year growth of approximately 340% in domestic searches for Airbnb accommodations during the Independence Day and Raksha Bandhan long weekend.
The favored destinations encompass Goa, Lonavala, Puducherry, Mumbai, Bengaluru, New Delhi, and Udaipur, showcasing a strong inclination towards beach getaways, hill stations, and cultural centers.
