Chandigarh, July 4 – Haryana Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Sh. Aseem Goel said that the state government is committed to ensuring the health and comprehensive development of women and children in the state. The government is paying special attention to their nutrition to achieve this objective. On July 15, at a state-level ceremony in Ambala, 444 mothers who have made outstanding contributions in taking care of their newborns and themselves will be honored with the “Best Mother” Award, said the Minister after presiding over a review meeting of the Women and Child Development Department in Chandigarh.
