Meanwhile, last night at around 11 o’clock, some people in a car tried to escape by breaking the police barricade. They have not been traced yet. After the incident, the police is checking CCTV cameras. This incident occurred when the police was checking vehicles at the Kauliyan police barricade on Saturday night.
At around 11 pm, a car was coming from Narnot Jaimal Singh, which was signaled to stop by the police personnel at the police check post. The driver slowed down the speed of the car after seeing the signal, but as soon as the car reached near the check post, the driver increased the speed of the car and drove away from there. It is being told that there were about two to three people in the car at the place where this incident took place. Ahead of this is the Kathalour Police Check Post. Instead of going in that direction, the said people took the car towards the Dhussi road between these two check posts. Here, a lot of dust flies even if a small vehicle moves. After the incident of driving away from the police check post, some police personnel also chased this car on a motorcycle, but the drivers increased the speed of the car so much that they went far away in no time. The people in the said car had escaped by breaking the police barricade through this route, this has also been confirmed by some people working at a stone crusher near village Datyal on the route. They say that a speeding car had passed through this route around 12 in the night, after some time police personnel on motorcycles also arrived and inquired about the car but by then the driver of the speeding car had gone far away.
