Punjab 1 July 2024 Punjab Khabarnama : All the government, private, aided and recognized schools of Punjab have reopened from today, July 1. The Punjab government had closed the schools in the state from 21 May to 30 June due to summer vacation. The schools will open as per their scheduled time from 8 am to 2 pm.
Let us tell you that in the month of May itself, the Punjab government had issued orders to declare holidays in all schools till June 30, keeping in mind the health of children, after seeing the mercury rising to 48 degrees. When the government’s school education department issued the above orders, the examinations of the month of May were going on in many schools and in many, the examinations were yet to begin, but due to departmental strictness, the schools decided to conduct the said examinations only after the holidays. Now when the children come to school from Monday, they will appear in the exams before starting classes.
