Jalandhar 24 June 2024 Punjab Khabarnama : Taking command of AAP’s campaign in Jalandhar West assembly seat byelection, Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann held a meeting with the party’s leaders and office-bearers on Sunday.
He sought to debunk “rumours” that there were any differences between AAP leaders, saying the party would win and have 95 MLAs in Punjab by the end of this year.
Addressing the meeting, he asked leaders to campaign from door to door for this bypoll and advised them to apprise people of the “achievements of AAP govt in just two years”.
He said AAP candidate Mohinder Bhagat and his family had a clean image.
“He and his family have been working for the people of Jalandhar for many years now. Follow the lead of Bhagat during this campaign,” he said, while emphasizing that he would himself supervise and guide the whole campaign for this assembly constituency. “There are no differences in AAP leadership or workers. There are many such rumours circling around, but they are baseless and fake,” CM said, while asking opposition leaders to not worry and claimed that his party would have 95 MLAs in the assembly.
