Jalandhar 20 June 2024 Punjab Khabarnama : Bahujan Samaj Party’s Punjab, Chandigarh and Haryana in-charge Randhir Singh Bainiwal said that the party has decided to contest the assembly by-election of Jalandhar West. He said that this decision has been taken following the guidelines of BSP supremo Sister Kumari Mayawati and the opinion of all the party leadership and Lok Sabha Jalandhar workers.
He said that the party has always been fighting for the Dalits, backward classes, religious minorities and the common people and in this by-election also it will take the agenda for the welfare of all voters to the people. He said that there have been continuous governments of Congress and BJP. People had formed AAP government in Punjab as an alternative.But all these parties have not been able to live up to the expectations of the public. Therefore, in such a situation, BSP people have a good alternative to these parties. BSP is continuously working in public interest and can serve the public in a better way by winning the elections.
