June 13 (Punjab Khabarnama) : A gang that used to get fake registrations done by presenting fake owners and witnesses in the Sub-Registrar (Central) has been busted. After the complaint of Tehsildar Navdeep Singh Shergill, the police investigated it and busted a big nexus which used to take loans of lakhs of rupees by keeping fake registries in the bank.

In this regard, the police of Thana Sadar has registered a case against the main accused Gurjeet Rai along with Sapna Dhingra, Gursewak Singh, Santosh Kaur, Manpreet Singh alias Sonu, Mahinder Singh Bhanghu, Varinder Singh Supriya, Punjab and Sind Bank Civil Line manager Prabhjeet Singh Chawla, Ajay Kumar Dhingra, Mansa Ram and unknown persons under sections of fraud, making fake government documents and other sections.
