June 12 (Punjab Khabarnama) : Former Congress national president Rahul Gandhi did not appear in court during the hearing held in the MP MLA special court on Tuesday in the objectionable remarks made against the then BJP national president Amit Shah.
The court did not receive the service report of whether Rahul Gandhi has received the summons or not. Therefore, the court fixed the next date for appearance as July 6. Let us tell you that the MP MLA special court has issued summons to Rahul Gandhi for appearance. BJP worker Naveen Jha had filed a case against Rahul Gandhi. It is worth noting that BJP worker Naveen Jha has accused Rahul Gandhi that during a program in the year 2018, Rahul Gandhi had made objectionable remarks against the then national president of the party Amit Shah.
Rahul Gandhi had said that BJP is the only party that can make a murderer the national president. This does not happen in the Congress party and nor will it ever happen. At the time when Rahul Gandhi gave this statement, Amit Shah was the national president. After this statement of Rahul Gandhi, a BJP worker Naveen Jha had filed a petition against him. They had objected that Rahul Gandhi had made a false statement against their leader and their party. After the petitioner’s complaint, Ranchi MP MLA Court had issued summons against Rahul Gandhi, after which Rahul Gandhi’s lawyer also went to the High Court, but he did not get relief.
