June 11 (Punjab Khabarnama) : Last night, 3 people died when a canter overturned in village Torowal near Garhshankar. According to the information received, the congregation of village Udan Tehsil Rajpura District Patiala was returning after paying obeisance at Shri Khuralgarh Sahib when the canter overturned due to brake failure near village Torowal near Garhshankar, killing 3 people and injuring many.
According to the information received, there was a lot of shouting on the spot after the accident. People have sent the injured to other places besides Civil Hospital Garhshankar. Two of the deceased persons have been identified as Gurmukh Singh son of Naja Ram and Navjot Kaur Lado daughter of Jagar Singh resident of village Udan Tehsil Rajpura District Patiala. At present, the police is investigating the whole matter.
