According to the information received, this morning when Babli Kaur, daughter of Nahar Singh resident Ravidas Colony, was crossing the highway near Baliyal road cut, the driver of a truck loaded with wheat sacks from Baliyal road hit the girl while climbing the highway. The girl died on the spot as the driver’s side front tire of the truck ran over her head. The police party reached the spot and took the truck and the girl’s body into custody and started the action.
