The government is making the dream of the poor to have their own house come true – Ranjit Singh
June 10 (Punjab Khabarnama) : Chaudhary Ranjit Singh said that every family dreams of having their own house. But building a house is a very difficult task for a poor family. The state government understood this concern of the poor families and took a historic decision to provide plots of 100 square yards each to the eligible families under the Mahatma Gandhi Gramin Basti Yojana. This scheme has brought happiness to the poor families.
Energy Minister Chaudhary Ranjit Singh was addressing the beneficiaries present as the chief guest in a program organized under Mahatma Gandhi Gramin Basti Yojana in Sirsa today. He distributed possession allotment letters of 100-100 square yard plots to the beneficiaries under the scheme.
The Energy Minister said that Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh is working to promote the public welfare schemes of the state. Mahatma Gandhi Gramin Basti Yojana is a good scheme for the benefit of poor families. He said that 756 families in the district have been given plot possession allotment letters under this scheme. He thanked the Chief Minister for allotment of plots to poor eligible families and congratulated the beneficiaries. The Energy Minister said that the families who were deprived of the scheme will also be included in the scheme.
