June 10 (Punjab Khabarnama) : Sensation spread in Damtal of Pathankot today when a case of murder of a 15-year-old girl came to light. Giving information, ASP Dharm Chand Verma said that at around 9 am, a call came from the Chairman Bhadroa in the Damtal police station that a minor girl has been murdered in village Bhadroa, due to which the police chief of Damtal police station Devraj Sharma reached there with his team and tried to gather facts.
He told that the parents of the minor girl living in slums had gone to Rajasthan. She lived with her maternal uncle Mahendra. When her maternal uncle went to take a bath, people told him that someone killed his niece and at the same time Mohan (40) son of Ramdas, who is a resident of Bihar, was going out with a dagger in his hand.
When he looked inside the room, the body of his niece was lying on the bed soaked in blood. By the time he reached the hospital, she had died. The accused was trying to run away, who was caught by the police after a lot of effort.
