June 4 (Punjab Khabarnama) : The results of the Lok Sabha elections held on June 1 in Punjab are being declared. As per the scheduled time, counting of votes has started at 8 am on Patiala Lok Sabha seat. All the major parties of Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party, Congress, Akali Dal, BJP and BSP had fielded their strong candidates on the 13 Lok Sabha seats of Punjab. Apart from this, many independent candidates were also in the fray. Patiala Lok Sabha seat is in the news. Dr. Balbir Singh of Aam Aadmi Party, former MP Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi from Congress, Preneet Kaur from BJP and N.K. Sharma from Akali Dal are in the fray from here. Dharamvir Gandhi of Congress is leading by 6959 votes.
