June 3 (Punjab Khabarnama) : Online fraudsters have found another way to cheat. Due to this, many passersby have suffered a loss of thousands of rupees. If you are traveling by bus, train or any other means, be careful. If someone asks you for your mobile phone, avoid giving it. Nowadays, the gang that cheats by asking for mobile phones is traveling in trains, due to which many people have suffered a loss of thousands and lakhs.
Vinod Puri, resident of Kamal Vihar, Jalandhar, who was going from Jalandhar to Lucknow, told that when he reached Morinda, an unknown person came to him in the train and started asking for his phone. When he gave him the phone to make a call, after some time 20 thousand rupees were transferred from his bank account. When he tried to find that person, he could not find that fraudster but found another person who was also cheated in the same way. The said person informed the Morinda police station and the police registered a zero FIR.
Victim Vinod Puri said that when he checked the account number and the address of the account holder from the bank, it turned out to be from Jalandhar. He said that in this regard, he has lodged a written complaint in the Commissionerate and the concerned police station.
