May 31 (Punjab Khabarnama) : In the Chhatar area of Pakistan’s Nasirabad district, a man along with his associates killed his wife and her alleged lover on the second day of their marriage. According to sources across the border, the incident took place in village Ghulam Muhammad Siddiqui Mugeri Goth, where the accused husband Umar Khan, with the help of another person, opened fire on his newly married wife when she was in an objectionable condition with her lover in her maternal home, due to which his wife Reshma and her lover Ali died on the spot.
According to sources, on the second day of marriage, the accused Umar Khan went to his in-laws’ house with one of his relatives to take his wife. When he reached outside the village, someone informed him that his wife had a love affair with Ali of the same village before marriage. On which, he reached his in-laws’ house in anger, where Reshma’s lover Ali was sitting in a separate room. As soon as Umar Khan reached the room, he saw both of them in an objectionable condition, so with the help of his relative, he shot and killed both of them. The police reached the spot and took the bodies to the district hospital of Dera Murad Jamali.
