May 30 (Punjab Khabarnama) : Domestic stock markets started trading with a sharp decline on Wednesday. At the end of trading, the Sensex fell 667.55 points to 74,502.90, while the Nifty also fell 183.45 points, closing at 22,704.70.
At the beginning of trading, the Nifty fell by about 100 points and the Bank Nifty by 250 points. The Sensex was trading around 74,870 with a decline of 300 points. The Nifty was below 22800, although the decline increased after that.
In the morning, there were signs of softness from the global markets. After a long weekend, mixed action was seen in the US, Gift Nifty fell by 111 points. US futures were also trading in the red. The market closed in the red in yesterday’s trading. Nifty closed 44 points down at 22,888, while Sensex closed 220 points down at 75,170. At the same time, Nifty Bank closed 139 points down at 49,142.
There was a decline in the market yesterday
Earlier yesterday i.e. on 28 May, there was a decline in the stock market. Sensex slipped 220 points and closed at 75,170. At the same time, Nifty also fell by 44 points. It closed at 22,888.
