May 28 (Punjab Khabarnama) : Adani Group has made preparations to speed up the heartbeats of Google, PhonePe and Reliance Industries. Adani Group is also going to jump into e-commerce and digital payment sector very soon. They have planned to enter the online shopping sector through UPI license, credit card and ONDC. This service will be started through Adani One app.
Looking for opportunities in digital payment and ecommerce sector
According to information received from sources, Adani Group is seriously exploring possibilities in digital payment and e-commerce sector. He wants to start his own UPI service. He is also in discussion with many banks about launching co-branded credit cards. The company is also eyeing Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC). He wants to enter the online shopping sector through ONDC. ONDC is supported by the Government of India. It is progressing rapidly.
Services will be provided through Adani One App
The report claims that if Adani Group gets approval, then UPI and e-commerce services can be availed through the company’s consumer app Adani One. This app was launched in the year 2022. It currently provides services like hotel and flight booking. Adani Group will initially provide the benefits of new services to its existing customers. After this, efforts will also be made to connect customers related to airport, gas and electricity services operated by Adani Group. They can be given loyalty points on payment. They will be able to use them during online shopping and duty free purchases.
Gautam Adani wants to get into business directly related to customers.
Due to this, Adani Group led by Gautam Adani will be able to make better use of the already existing customer base. Sources said that Adani Group is also going to bring its led media platforms on its app. Along with businesses like ports, airports and power plants, Adani Group now also wants to focus on such businesses where it has direct connection with the customer.
