May 28 (Punjab Khabarnama) : A tipper driver had a narrow escape during a road accident near Khudda Bhagautipur on the highway. At around 2.30 in the night, after being hit on the side by a tourist bus, the tipper went out of control and collided with the tipper standing on the roadside. Due to this the tipper was badly damaged. This tipper was carrying sand.
After the accident, the tipper driver Jatinder Singh, son of Pyara Singh, resident of Nurpur Nakodar got badly trapped in it. People were shocked to see this scene. On receiving the information, Police Station Officer Baljeet Singh Rohit and Pankaj of Road Safety Force team arrived and with the help of truck drivers called for Hydra and after two and a half hours of effort, took the driver out safely and got him admitted to the government hospital in Tanda.
