May 27 (Punjab Khabarnama) : Former B.P.E.O resident of Machhiwada. mother. Kulwant Singh died suddenly of a heart attack on his way to visit Sri Hemkunt Sahib.
According to the information, on May 21, like every year, Kulwant Singh along with the group left for the darshan of Hemkunt Sahib from the historical Gurudwara Shri Charan Kanwal Sahib of Machhiwada. About half a kilometer behind the main pilgrimage site Gobind Dham, he had difficulty breathing and breathed his last there. His mortal remains were brought to his home in Machhiwada at 10 am on Sunday morning and his last rites were performed at the local crematorium at 12 o’clock. There is a wave of mourning in the area along with the family due to this incident.
