May 24 (Punjab Khabarnama) : Motorcycle Activas of 9 people have been stolen in the last 4 days in the Kotwali police station area, but the police have registered only 2 cases. Victims Sunny Kumar and Amit told that three days ago they had gone for some work near Mata Rani Chowk. When he returned after 10 minutes, the motorcycle was stolen. He searched around a lot but could not find anything.
Similarly, in another case near Pindi Gali, Ashish Kumar says that he parked his motorcycle for some work and went inside the market. When he returned, his motorcycle had been stolen. Similarly, Vinay Kumar told that he is a resident of Haibowal. He parked his motorcycle near Mannapurna Purna Gold Bank. When he returned after some time, it had been stolen. Pankaj Gupta told that he parked the motorcycle outside Akalgarh Market and when he returned, the motorcycle had been stolen. He has also given CCTV footage to the police but till now nothing has been found about the thieves.
Most of the victims say that they have somehow obtained the CCTV footage of the accused who stole the vehicle and given it to the police, but the accused is away from the police. Nearby shopkeepers and people say that in this area, most of the police officers including the Police Commissioner start the flag march from this area, but the security of this area is entirely dependent on Ram.
