May 23 (Punjab Khabarnama) : The operating income of JSW Paints for the financial year 2023-24 has crossed Rs 2,000 crore. With this the company has recorded its first operating profit in five years of its establishment.
Sundaresan AS, Joint Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company, said, “The JSW group company aims to achieve a revenue of Rs 5,000 crore in the next two years. The company is expanding its retail presence in this business segment and adding more products in the industrial ‘coatings’ business.” Sundaresan said, “We are positioned to be profitable on the operational front in this financial year 2023-24. JSW Paints is one of the new players in the fast growing Indian paint industry. It aims to “grow much faster than the market”. He said, “Our target is to grow five to 10 times the market growth rate. In the current year (FY 2023-24), we have grown 10 times more than the rest of the industry.
Asked about JSW Paints’ revenue target of Rs 5,000 crore within the next two years, Sundaresan said, “We believe it is possible.” Currently, JSW Paints has 6,000 retailers across the country. Is the network.
