May 23 (Punjab Khabarnama) : The havoc of ‘Loo’ in Punjab has made life difficult for the people. Now near village Jassi Pau Wali on Bathinda Mansa Road, a person fell unconscious due to heat. He died later. The villagers informed Sahara Janseva about the person becoming unconscious. On receiving the information, the organization members reached the spot and took the unconscious person to the Civil Hospital and started treatment, but the person died during treatment. No document was found with the deceased through which he could be identified. Police is taking further action.
Red alert issued in 4 districts of the state
Let us tell you that the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert regarding heat in 4 districts of the state, Fazilka, Sri Muktsar Sahib, Bathinda and Mansa. The state is currently experiencing scorching heat and weather experts estimate that the temperature in the state is likely to reach 49 degrees. If this happens then the heat record of last 46 years in Punjab will be broken. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in the districts of Punjab will reach 48 degrees on May 25, but this increase is not going to stop here. The temperature will reach 49 degrees on May 26 and 27. If this happens, it will be about 1 degree higher than the 47.7 degree temperature of 46 years ago.
