May 22 (Punjab Khabarnama) : A dance of hooliganism was seen openly in the fruit market near Hall Gate of Amritsar. It is being told that 25 to 30 people attacked a shopkeeper with sharp weapons due to which 10 to 12 people were injured. On this occasion, it is being told by the victim shopkeeper that first they argued with him about taking the street side, after which they called 25 to 30 people with weapons and attacked him. During this period, 10 to 12 of their people were seriously injured. Bricks and stones were thrown throughout the market. He has complained to the police but no action has been taken yet.
It is being told by the shopkeeper that first there was an argument between the street vendor and the shopkeeper regarding moving to one side of the street, after which the shopkeepers called 25 to 30 people and attacked them. It is being said by the shopkeeper that they had sabers, glass bottles, baseballs and many other weapons with which they attacked and seriously injured 10 to 12 of their people.
It is being told by the police officer that about 25 to 30 people attacked a shopkeeper with weapons in the Fruit Market near Hall Gate and 10 to 12 of them were seriously injured. Police said that they are investigating the entire matter and legal action will be taken after complete investigation.
