May 20 (Punjab Khabarnama) : In view of the last phase of Lok Sabha elections, while BJP and Aam Aadmi Party have put all their strength in Punjab, Congress has also suddenly become active. Under this, Rahul Gandhi’s messenger K.C. Venugopal also reached Punjab on Sunday. He has held one to one meetings with all the Congress candidates till late night. During this, Punjab President Raja Vading, Leader of Opposition Pratap Bajwa, Incharge Devendra Yadav, Harish Chaudhary were present.
According to the information received, in these meetings, information was obtained from the candidates about the problems they were facing during the election campaign along with the opposing leaders and ground reports were also taken from current and former MLAs and civic in-charges. At the same time, Venugopal also informed the candidates about the feedback collected by the high command as to what steps they need to take in the coming days.
There was also discussion about the rallies of other big leaders with Rahul-Priyanka.
The schedule of rallies to be held in Punjab before the Lok Sabha elections has been released by BJP, in view of which Congress also discussed the rallies of Rahul-Priyanka with its candidates. During this time, it was also brainstormed that which big leaders of Congress could benefit from being called to which seat.
