May 17 (Punjab Khabarnama) : BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda has appointed Tejinder Pal Singh Bittu, who recently said goodbye to Congress and joined BJP, as BJP co-coordinator of Haryana state in view of the Lok Sabha elections. Party’s national general secretary and headquarters in-charge Arun Singh has sent copies of Tejinder Bittu’s appointment to the Chief Minister of Haryana, Haryana general secretary and in-charge and other concerned leaders.
Tejinder Bittu was included in the party by the BJP high command a few days ago. Before this, he was co-in-charge of Himachal Pradesh on behalf of Congress and also served as the national secretary of the party. Bittu’s resentment arose because the Congress leadership had promised to send him to Rajya Sabha after the party’s victory in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections, but in the Rajya Sabha elections, the party leadership had given the ticket to another leader.
Bittu requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah and party national president J.P. for his appointment. Thanking Naddha, he said that he will make every possible effort for BJP’s victory in Haryana.
