May 3 (Punjab Khabarnama) : A tragic accident happened with a young laborer working in the local grain market. According to the information, the laborer died after falling under the wheat sacks. The deceased has been identified as Harphool Singh (age 37), son of Gurmel Singh, resident of village Mahesari, district Moga.
Giving information regarding this, Choudhary and MC husband Surinder Singh of the local agent Laxmi Grain Traders located at Chander Road said that in the afternoon, the laborers were drinking tea and water while working in the sub yard of the market, when the laborer working with them, Harphool. Singh sat down to drink tea near the sacks in the shade of a tree, when suddenly the sacks full of wheat fell on him. He was immediately sent to the Medical College, Faridkot for treatment, where doctors declared him dead.
