May 3 (Punjab Khabarnama) : After the investigation report, the Education Department has suspended the principals, heads and in-charges of 10 government schools. The department is going to chargesheet everyone soon. Action has been taken against irregularities in recruitment of sanitation workers and negligence in duty. One of the suspended principals has come on deputation from Punjab. The department has decided to suspend him and send him back. The education department of Punjab is also being informed about this. This principal will send reports regarding irregularities in the appointment of employees on contract and dereliction of duty, so that disciplinary action can be taken.

After the matter came to light on May 1st, the Education Department had constituted a 4-member committee to investigate. Deputy Director-1 Sunil Bedi, Deputy Director-2 Ravindra Kaur, District Education Officer Bindu Arora and DCF-1 Neelam Khanna were included in the committee. The committee prepared the report after hearing all the parties and examining the documents. The inquiry committee also heard the views of principals, heads and in-charges of 10 schools. After completing the process, the report was submitted to the department on Thursday evening.
