May 3 (Punjab Khabarnama) : The news of death of a woman by stray dogs has come to light from Kishanpur, Gurdaspur. The woman had come to stay at her maternal home for a few days. After this incident, the family members of the deceased have demanded the district administration to remove stray dogs.
According to the information, the woman had left home for a walk at five in the morning. When she did not reach home for a long time, the family started searching for her. The dead body of the woman was found near the cremation ground of Jagewal Bet and a pack of dogs was also sitting nearby. The dogs mauled the woman to death. Let us tell you that the woman was married to BSF jawan Harjinder Singh living in Khojkipur and she also has two sons, whose age is eight and four years. The police have sent the body of the deceased for post-mortem.
