April 26 (Punjab Khabarnama) : Bhai Amritpal Singh, imprisoned in Dibrugarh Jail, has said that if the people want, he will certainly contest the Lok Sabha elections from Khadur Sahib Constituency. This revelation has been made by his father Tarsem Singh and uncle Sukhchain Singh after meeting Amritpal Singh in jail.
He said that Amritpal Singh has said that he has no intention to enter politics yet, but if the members of the constituency insist more, then in the coming days, it will be considered whether to contest the election or not.
He said that Amritpal Singh has asked for a week’s time to consider this matter. Both said that there was very little time for the meeting today, due to which they have asked for another meeting tomorrow.
