April 25 (Punjab Khabarnama) : Amritpal Singh, head of “Waris Punjab De” organization, lodged in Dibrugarh jail, is going to contest the Lok Sabha elections. This claim was made by his lawyer Rajdev Singh Khalsa after meeting Amritpal Singh in Dibrugarh jail.
He says that Amritpal Singh is ready to contest independent elections from Khadur Sahib. He will not contest elections on the election symbol of any party. When talked about this, his father said that he will meet Amritpal in jail and only then will he clarify the situation. On the other hand, there is discussion going on that Sidhu Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh can contest the elections as an independent.
