April 24 (Punjab Khabarnama) : District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Rupnagar Dr. Under the leadership of Priti Yadav today, all the officers and employees at the district administrative complex and various departments took an oath to use the right to vote in Lok Sabha elections 2024 in a fair and fearless manner without any greed.
After this, for the elections to be held on June 1 in the state of Punjab, with the aim of sensitizing all the voters to use their vote correctly without any external pressure, rising above greed, caste and religion, the Deputy Commissioner’s Office at the District Administrative Complex today. A human chain was formed by all the officers, employees, police department.
Its main objective is to create a truly participatory democracy in India by encouraging all eligible citizens to vote and take informed decisions during elections.
He said that citizens have to be informed about the importance of their vote, that each vote they cast will prove helpful in building a strong democratic government in the country.
Therefore, they should exercise their right to vote in elections freely, impartially and fearlessly without the influence of any religion, class, caste, community, language or any greed.
