April 24 (Punjab Khabarnama) : Under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Red Cross Society Komal Komal Mittal, the society provides first aid training to conductors, drivers, factory workers and school children etc. In the same series, a four-day First Aid camp was organized at Usha Martin Limited, Chauhal.
Giving this information, Secretary District Red Cross Society Mangesh Sood said that first aid trainer Sarabjit gave first aid training to 15 company workers and staff in this camp. In this training, the workers/staff were given information about the causes of any accident, prevention and giving necessary first aid. In this training, information was given about road accidents, CPR attack, burns, poisons, fractures, bandages, electric shock transport etc. Sarabjit said that the life of any accident victim can be saved by giving the right first aid at the right time. So it is necessary for every person to get first aid training.
Secretary, District Red Cross Society, Hoshiarpur appealed to all the factories and companies that since first aid training is necessary in factories and companies, first aid training should be conducted on a large scale.
Mangesh Sood said that various projects are being run by the District Red Cross Society under the leadership of the Deputy Commissioner for the welfare of poor, needy, homeless persons and various vocational centers are also being run to give vocational training to girls.
