April 17 (Punjab Khabarnama) : Mr. Harpreet Singh Sudan District Magistrate Mr. Muktsar Sahib has issued a special order by the Election Commission of India in connection with the Lok Sabha elections to be held on April 19, 2024 in the state of Rajasthan using the powers obtained under Section 54 of the Punjab Excise Act 1914. Sri Muktsar Sahib has declared a dry day within a radius of 3 km from 17th April 2024 to 6:00 PM till the completion of the election process on 19th April 2024 and on the day of counting of votes on 04th June 2024.
According to this order, the sale, stocking, distribution or sale of English and country liquor, spirits, alcohol or any other intoxicating substance and other intoxicants in hotels, dhabas, premises, restaurants, beer bars, clubs or There is a complete ban on selling and serving in any other public places on the said days.
Clubs, star hotels, restaurants etc. and hotels run by any person, even though they have been issued licenses of various categories for keeping and supplying liquor, also from 17th April 2024 at 6:00 pm to 19th April 2024 and 04 There will be a ban on serving liquor on June 2024.
Strict action will be taken against those violating these orders.
