Strict action will be taken against the school and bus owner who violates the rules
Rupnagar, April 13 (Punjab Khabarnama) : The main objective of the Safe School Vehicle Policy is to provide safe school vehicles to school children, so all school heads should ensure strict adherence to the Safe School Vehicle Policy. These words were expressed by Deputy Commissioner Rupnagar Dr. Preeti Yadav did.
In this regard, Deputy Commissioner Rupnagar said that yesterday, a case of death of 6 school children due to a drunk driver in Haryana’s Mahindergarh had come to light. He said that to prevent such accidents in the future, it is very important to implement the Safe School Vehicle Policy so that such accidents do not happen again.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav said that it should be ensured that every school bus has a fitness certificate, children are not sitting in the bus more than the seating capacity, the speed governor is engaged and the driver has a valid license.
Deputy Commissioner Rupnagar Dr. Preeti Yadav has issued strict orders that if a school bus is found to be violating the rules of the Safe School Vehicle Scheme, then strict action should not be taken against the bus owner along with that school.
