Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, April 13 (Punjab Khabarnama) : The license of Capital Overseas Firm has been canceled by Additional District Magistrate Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke using the powers conferred under Section 6 (1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012. Additional District Magistrate Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke informed that Capital Overseas Firm SCO. No. 62, 2nd Floor, Phase-7 Mohali, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar Proprietor Mr. Jagbir Singh Son of Mr. Jarnail Singh Resident of House No. 20678, Street No. 26/3, Ajit Road, Bathinda, Punjab Hall Resident of Flat No. K3, F01 -102, The Views Hills, Emaar Sector 105, SAS Nagar has been issued License No: 415/IC, dated 23.10.2020 for the operation of Consultancy and Coaching Institute of IELTS. The term of which is till 22 October 2025.

Regarding Rule 4(6) made under the said Act and the amendments therein, the monthly report to be sent regarding the clients in Rule No. 04 dated 16-09-2014 and Item No. 13 of the Advisory dated 14-05-2018. written for Apart from this, the complete information regarding the advertisements given by the firm/company regarding the business etc. is also to be given under section 7 of the said act. However, no report has been submitted by the licensee since the license was issued. Further, as per the report of the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Mohali, during the checking of the company/firm, it was found that the office was closed. In this regard, a notice was issued by this office to the licensee through a letter dated 30-08-2023 to submit sufficient documents along with clarification.

This notice was written to get the license issued through the Tehsildar, according to the Tamil report of the Tehsildar, Mohali, the office has been closed. It has been written by the owner Mr. Jagbir Singh, Capital Overseas, through the application dated 15-09-2023 that the office of the said firm has been closed by ICICI of his company. Existing bank account with bank which was closed on 20th December 2021 due to covid 19. Capital Overseas is not working both online and offline from 20th December 2021.

It is further written that if Capital Overseas decides to start its business in the future, it shall inform the concerned authorities if the firm has not submitted monthly reports since the issuance of the license and Section 6 of the Act ( As per 1)(g) the last notice letter regarding suspension of work for three consecutive months was issued on 05-10-2023 by the firm. Registered letter received undelivered to licensee’s Mohali residential address. Apart from this, this notice was also sent to the applicant’s email from this branch. But even after a long time no response was received from the licensee.

On the basis of the above-mentioned situation regarding the firm, the last notice has been issued to the licensee for not sending the monthly report until now, as per section 6(1)(g) of the Act, due to the firm ceasing work for three consecutive months and leaving the office, the licensee By not complying with the clauses, the firm and the licensee have violated the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012. Therefore, in view of the said facts, Mr. Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke, IAS, Additional District Magistrate, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar exercised his powers under the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012. License No. 415/IC issued to Hoy Firm Capital Overseas. Dated 23-10-2020 is cancelled/cancelled with immediate effect.
