It has also been opposed by Disha Women Welfare Trust (RJ) Punjab, an organization working for the welfare of women. To express their protest, a group of women under the leadership of senior journalist and President of Disha Trust, Hardeep Kaur, approached the Punjab State Commission for Women and filed a complaint. The trust issued a demand letter demanding action against singer Jazzy B.
Meanwhile, Madam Raj Lali Gill, chairperson of the Punjab State Women’s Commission, assured the trust that singer Jazzy B will be sent a notice in this regard by the commission and a response will be sought. He said that the language used by singer Jazzy B in the song is reprehensible which will be taken notice of.
