Surrey, March 20, 2024 (Punjab Khabarnama) – In the monthly meeting of the Central Punjabi Writers’ Association (North America), the book ‘Sethan’s Daughter’ by the storyteller Narinder Pannu was presented to the public. Pritpal Gill, Palwinder Singh Randhawa and Narendra Pannu presided over this meeting held at Senior Citizen Center Surrey.
Pritpal Gill, Palwinder Singh Randhawa, Preet Kaur Gill, Prof. Kashmira Singh, Dr. Prithipal Sohi and Sukhjinder Kaur Sidhu read papers about the book. Narendra Pannu shared information about the stories in the book.Narendra Pannu was honored by the assembly. Charan Singh, the former president of the Sabha, was honored with a letter of honour. On this occasion, the Assistant Secretary of the Sabha, Darshan Sangha, announced that the best literary award given by the Sabha will be given to Sucha Singh Keller this year.During the second phase, a poet’s court dedicated to International Women’s Day was held in which Surjit Singh Madhopuri, Amrik Palahi, Inderjit Singh Dhami, Inder Pal Singh Sandhu, Darshan Singh Sangha, Kavinder Chand, Charan Singh, Dr. Davinder Kaur, Harchand Singh Gill,Harpal Singh Brar Davinder Kaur Johal, Parminder Singh Pannu, Beant Singh Dhillon, Narinder Baia, Ranjit Singh Nijhar, Preet Gill, Davinder Kaur, Jarnail Singh Roy, Jasbir Singh Roy, Manjit Singh Pannu, Surinder Singh Jasal, Jilhe Singh Manjit Singh Mallah, Malkit Singh, Avtar Singh Dhillon, Amrik Singh, Gurcharan Singh Brar, Gurmeet Singh Kalkat participated. The entire family of the author was specially present on this occasion.
In the end, Pritpal Gill, president of the council, thanked everyone. Palwinder Singh Randhawa performed the stage action well.
