An appeal to expatriate Indians to participate in the meet-and-greet event
Patiala, February 13 (Punjab khabarnama) : Under the plans of Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to meet Punjabi NRIs across the state, 8 districts of Punjab (Patiala, Sangrur, Barnala, Fatehgarh Sahib, Malerkotla, Bathinda, Ludhiana and Mansa) The meeting program of NRI is now being held at Sangrur on February 29. Earlier this meeting was to be held on February 16 at the said place, but now the program will be held on February 29 due to administrative reasons.
Giving this information, Deputy Commissioner Shaukat Ahmed Pari said that the Punjabi NRIs meeting events in the state were started by Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann on February 3 from Pathankot, Chamrod (Mini Goa), after which Shaheed Bhagat Singh A similar meeting ceremony has been successfully organized in Nagar too. He said that the purpose of these meetings is to adequately resolve the problems and complaints faced by the migrant Punjabi Indians.
The Deputy Commissioner has appealed to the migrant Punjabi Indians belonging to Patiala district to actively participate in this meeting. He said that registration counters will be set up at the meeting place for the registration of migrant Punjabis.
