Batala , February 9 (Punjab khabarnama) The second funeral ceremony of Sepoy Gurbaz Singh of 62 Medium Regiment of the Indian Army was held at Gurudwara Sahib village Masanii of Sant Baba Fauja Singh under the chairmanship of General Secretary of Shaheed Sainik Parivar Suraksha Parishad Kunwar Ravinder Singh Vicky. In which MLA Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi specially participated. Apart from them, martyr’s mother Harjit Kaur , father retired Naib Subedar Gurmeet Singh , grandfather Lal Singh , grandmother Swaran Kaur, SP Prithi Pal Singh , DPRO Harjinder Singh Kalsi , martyr’s unit Naib Subedar Navtej Singh , Jagdev Singh, father of Martyr Lansnaik Sandeep Singh Shourya Chakra , Rajesh Kumar, father of Martyr Constable Jatinder Kumar, Satpal Attri, father of Martyr Constable Maninder Singh , Inderjit Kaur, wife of Martyr Constable Amarjit Singh , Mandeep Kaur, wife of Martyr Hauldar Rajinder Singh etc. were special guests. Participated and offered flowers of respect to the martyr. Addressing the memorial service, MLA Amansher Singh Sheri Kalsi said that the borders of this country are safe only because of the sacrifices of brave soldiers like Shaheed Sepoy Gurbaz Singh. Many kings and prophets have come and gone on this earth , but those who sacrifice for this country are remembered for centuries, such brave men do not die , they become immortal. The MLA said that mothers who give birth to martyrs are very rare, but the sacrifices of the country earn the honor of being called mothers of martyrs by sacrificing pieces of their liver. He said that there is no need for army uniform to show patriotism , in whatever field you are working , you can make your valuable contribution in nation building by playing the role of a soldier by doing your work honestly. Kunwar Vicky said that Sepoy Gurbaz Singh was the only son of his parents and by giving his sacrifice at the young age of 23 years, he proved that one should not be old to show patriotism. They said that he was born in this village. of We salute the soil which earned the honor of being called village of martyrs by sacrificing its three brave soldiers for the protection of the country. Kunwar Vicky said that whenever a soldier sacrifices his life for the country, many announcements are made by politicians on the occasion of his last rites, but with time all the promises are buried in government files. But when MLA Amansher Singh Sheri Kalsi attended the memorial service organized on the first martyrdom day of Sepoy Gurbaz Singh last year , the Shaheed Sainik Parivar Suraksha Parishad decided to build a Yadgiri gate and open a government school in the village in memory of this brave soldier. name When asked to keep it in the name of this martyr , MLA Kalsi laid the foundation stone of Yadgiri Gate at the entrance of the village on the same day by the martyr’s family. And today that Yadgiri gate is ready.
